Student of the Year & Most Promising Student Awards 2004 |
|
Report |
Instructor Mr R. Adelagun (right) with Student of the Year Kevin Manktelow (left) & Most Promising Student Yoan Stoyanov. The presentation for these Awards took place on the morning of Saturday 18 December 2004, at the Lyonsdown Hall dojang. The Student of the Year for 2004 is Kevin Manktelow, 8th Kup. He receives a certificate and engraved trophy. At every lesson, Kevin displays maximum effort and commitment. He has a great deal of talent, particularly in sparring, and has achieved a very good overall foundation in Taekwon-Do. He has exactly the right attitude and motivation to achieve high standards as a Black Belt! The juniors in the class are doing very well, but they could still look to Kevin as an an example of how to fully apply themselves to their training. This was a very well-deserved Student of the Year award! The Most Promising Student for 2004 is Yoan Stoyanov, 9th Kup. He receives a certificate and engraved trophy. Yoan has a great deal of enthusiasm and enjoyment of Taekwon-Do. This shows in how well he listens to instruction and how thoroughly he has learned Korean terminology. He has significant talent and his overall attitude and commitment means that he has all the elements to achieve a lot in Taekwon-Do in the future! Well done to him! Congratulations, also, to the following students for achieving A-Grade passes in their Little Dragons Gradings: Thomas Beaumont (2 A's); Jonathan Quinzo & Yoan Stoyanov. |
